About the Role

The Supervision group is responsible for the supervision and regulation of various financial institutions. This role involves developing knowledge of the banking industry, supervision, and regulation, sourcing and analyzing data, and participating in team projects. You may also support examination teams overseeing supervised entities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of banking industry, supervision and regulation framework and processes.
  • Source, organize, and aggregate data to conduct analyses.
  • Participate in team projects/programs.
  • Provide general support of processes and documentation.
  • May participate and provide support to examination teams overseeing supervised entities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Willingness to pursue an “Examiner Commission” issued by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (a three to five-year program).
  • General knowledge of the banking and financial services industry is helpful, but not required.
  • Proficiency in introductory business office software.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork experience.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as curiosity.
  • Growth mindset including the desire to continuously learn.
  • Experience reading and interpreting basic financial information.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 40%.
  • Must be a "Protected Individual" (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, U.S. permanent resident eligible for naturalization, or U.S. permanent resident who has applied for naturalization within six months of eligibility or will sign a declaration of intent to apply for naturalization before employment).
  • Final offers are subject to the clearance of an enhanced background check, including academic and employment verifications, FBI fingerprint check, credit check, family history, residential records and foreign travel for the previous 7 years, citizenship verification, reference checks, and personal interview.
