About the Role
Seal & Design, Inc. is seeking a Clean & Pack Specialist to prepare finished parts or products for packaging, ensuring quality and adherence to work instructions.
Responsibilities
- Follow work instructions, job specifications, and packaging requirements.
- Accurately record job start times, completion times, material usage, and label requirements.
- Prepare finished parts or products for packaging, including trimming, cleanup, and visual inspection for obvious defects.
- Monitor product quality during packaging activities and report quality concerns or discrepancies to supervision promptly.
- Temporarily pause packaging or sorting activities when quality issues are identified and follow escalation procedures.
- Maintain organization and proper rotation of materials and finished goods according to FIFO and inventory control practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and operational procedures.
- Meet or exceed established productivity, efficiency, and quality targets.
- Cross-train and provide support to other departments as needed to meet production schedules and deadlines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working in a computer-based environment with business or ERP software.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
