About the Role

Discover a career where care goes both ways! We are looking for Personal Care Assistants to join our team at McQuoin Park. As part of a dedicated team who work hard to create a safe, home-like environment, you will be responsible for assisting residents with personal care, supporting daily tasks, and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure care plans are followed and residents' wellbeing is optimized.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing
  • Supporting day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities
  • Working with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed
  • Maintaining documentation and working as part of a team to ensure our residents’ health and wellbeing are optimised
  • Providing high quality service to families and the community

Requirements

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Good communication skills
  • A reliable team player
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety
  • A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
  • Preference will be given to PCAs who have completed medication‑competency training as part of their Certificate III or Certificate IV studies
