About the Role

As a Senior Admissions Test Content Specialist, you will play an important role in helping higher education programs better understand applicants’ human skills. You will work alongside researchers, assessment specialists, and fellow content experts to build the assessments that applicants complete and institutions rely on for admissions decisions. Your work will involve using language, critical thinking, and judgment to ensure assessments are clear, balanced, and fair for high-stakes admissions decisions. Beyond writing and reviewing content, you will own recurring content workflows to maintain assessment accuracy and consistency, coordinating review cycles and making decisions that balance evidence, quality, and fairness.

Responsibilities

  • Transform individual pieces of content into complete admissions assessments.
  • Evaluate language, identify inconsistencies, and balance competing considerations.
  • Refine wording to remove ambiguity.
  • Review how scenarios work together across an entire assessment.
  • Identify gaps and improve supporting resources.
  • Prepare new content for future test cycles.
  • Explore new tools, including AI, to improve assessment building processes.
  • Compile complete Casper assessments in partnership with a reviewer.
  • Balance content, timing, and assessment objectives.
  • Refine language and structure for clarity, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Apply thoughtful judgment when categorizing scenarios and connecting them to human skills.
  • Coordinate recurring review workflows.
  • Bring together perspectives from colleagues and subject matter experts.
  • Ensure supporting materials are accurate, consistent, and ready for use.
  • Develop and refine supporting content and documentation.
  • Explore opportunities to improve work processes, including using AI.
  • Collaborate with researchers, writers, reviewers, and production specialists.

Requirements

  • Professional fluency in English and French.
  • Experience working with language through professional experience where language mattered.
  • Experience in an environment where judgment mattered.
  • Experience weighing competing considerations and applying frameworks or guidelines consistently.
  • Experience making careful decisions where there isn’t always a single obvious answer.
  • Experience managing work where accuracy and consistency were critical.
  • Experience producing reliable, high-quality work while balancing competing priorities and recurring responsibilities.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot) in daily workflow for research, organization, idea exploration, writing improvement, or reducing repetitive work.
  • Experience developing the judgment to know when AI is helping, needs direction, or when human thinking should lead.
  • Enjoy exploring new technology and experimenting with better ways of working.
  • Thoughtful judgment: Enjoy working through complex questions, are energized by nuance, curious about different perspectives, and resist jumping to easy conclusions.
  • Curiosity: Naturally investigate inconsistencies, look for patterns, and enjoy understanding why something works before deciding how it could work better.
  • Perspective-taking: Able to anticipate how different people might interpret language, experience a scenario, or respond to an assessment.
  • Collaboration & Feedback: Enjoy discussing ideas, giving and receiving feedback, and improving thinking through conversations.
  • Organization & Reliability: Able to manage recurring work, balance multiple priorities, and consistently follow through on commitments.
  • Adaptability: Enjoy learning, evolving, and improving work methods; quick to adapt to shifting priorities, changing processes, and new challenges.
