About the Role

Emmy Squared Pizza, Midtown West is hiring Line Cooks to join our team and help deliver exceptional dining experiences. As part of the Pizza Loves Emily Restaurant Group, Emmy Squared is a growing upscale casual full-service restaurant brand known for our Detroit-style pizza, award-winning burgers, and commitment to quality, creativity, and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all menu items with precision, consistency, and adherence to recipes.
• Maintain sanitation standards that meet health department guidelines.
• Organize and uphold assigned kitchen workstations.
• Coordinate food production to align with service hours, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Practice safe food handling and proper storage techniques.
• Report maintenance and repair needs for kitchen equipment to management.
• Keep work areas clean and equipment well-maintained.
• Perform other back-of-house duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a line cook in a full-service restaurant.
• Knowledge of modern cooking techniques; pizza expertise is a plus!
• A passion for food and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Calm and welcoming demeanor, even under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical capability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs., push/pull up to 75 lbs., and stand for extended periods.
• Familiarity with culinary tools and the ability to taste and smell for quality assurance.
