About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Automation Lead to design, deliver, and continuously improve workflow automation solutions using Camunda. This role involves translating business processes into scalable BPMN workflows and orchestration patterns, connecting people, systems, APIs, and services across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Own the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of workflow automation solutions using Camunda.
- Lead the translation of business processes into scalable, maintainable BPMN workflows and orchestration patterns.
- Connect people, systems, APIs, and services across the organisation.
- Provide technical leadership.
- Mentor engineers.
- Guide solution design.
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver automation outcomes that are reliable, observable, and aligned to business priorities.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Camunda, BPMN 2.0, process orchestration, and workflow automation.
- Ability to lead technical design, guide engineering teams, and make pragmatic delivery decisions.
- Several years of experience in backend software engineering, workflow automation, or process orchestration roles.
- Understanding of Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and production support practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex processes and deliver balanced solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with technical and business stakeholders.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on reliability, observability, maintainability, and business value.
