About the Role

As a Tender Writer, you will lead and develop compelling, high-quality content for tender submissions in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment. This role focuses on showcasing Assure’s Employee Assistance Program capabilities for new business pursuits with government and corporate customers, working within the Sydney-based APM Tender Team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse tender documents to identify opportunities to be pursued
  • Assess tender requirements, including risks, evaluation criteria, differentiators and win themes
  • Lead Assure’s tender responses end to end, ensuring compliance, accuracy and alignment to customer needs
  • Develop clear, persuasive and outcomes focused proposals for EAP and workplace mental health services
  • Engage with clinical, operational, consulting and digital SMEs to obtain high value content and verify service detail
  • Prioritise and manage multiple tenders concurrently, maintaining quality standards and meeting tight deadlines
  • Ensure all written content reflects Assure’s value proposition, tone of voice and strategic direction
  • Maintain and strengthen Assure’s bid content library, including case studies, methodologies, CVs and evidence-based claims
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across bid planning, processes, templates and governance

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in bid or proposal writing (EAP, psychology, human services or workplace mental health preferred but not essential), or holds qualifications in Journalism, Business, Communications or other relevant disciplines
  • Passion for high-throughput tender production and submission and the ability to manage competing priorities to successful completion
  • Experience and skill in the use of generative AI tools (Copilot preferred but not essential) to aid the assessment of, and content development for, winning tenders with tight deadlines
  • Ability to accurately edit others’ written material and craft clear, concise and engaging content
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to support process improvement and efficiency goals
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment but also has a high degree of self-motivation and can work unsupervised
  • Adaptable to changing timelines and focus
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and document formatting skills
