Responsibilities

Ensures project and program objectives are defined and preliminary activities are completed for effectiveness and focus.
Ensures assigned projects and programs are completed according to predetermined requirements, including product/process specifications, costs, resource utilization, and timeliness.
Ensures all phases of project, program, and/or process development are documented and information is reported or transferred as appropriate.
Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
Ensures effective utilization of all material and financial resources.
Works effectively with other staff to maximize project/program productivity.
Spearheads research and development of new technologies and ensures incorporation into products/services or dissemination as needed.
May require standing for extended periods, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, distinguishing colors, working in noisy environments, and using hand and power tools.
May involve working in a clean room requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
