Responsibilities
- Ensures project and program objectives are defined and preliminary activities are completed for effectiveness and focus.
- Ensures assigned projects and programs are completed according to predetermined requirements, including product/process specifications, costs, resource utilization, and timeliness.
- Ensures all phases of project, program, and/or process development are documented and information is reported or transferred as appropriate.
- Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
- Ensures effective utilization of all material and financial resources.
- Works effectively with other staff to maximize project/program productivity.
- Spearheads research and development of new technologies and ensures incorporation into products/services or dissemination as needed.
- May require standing for extended periods, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, distinguishing colors, working in noisy environments, and using hand and power tools.
- May involve working in a clean room requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
