About the Role
The Part-Time Registered Nurse provides direct client care services and supervision, utilizing the nursing process and clinical knowledge to ensure high-quality client care. This role provides leadership and oversight to all clinical roles within the location and ensures services align with state requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise clinical staff and manage client cases.
- Assess the physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and environmental status of assigned clients.
- Perform initial client assessments and consult with physicians and other staff to formulate care plans.
- Provide nursing services in accordance with the plan of care.
- Continuously evaluate client status and work with clients/caregivers to meet their needs.
- Coordinate and integrate services provided to each client by all disciplines.
- Initiate and revise client care plans for the clinical team.
- Ensure clinical teams/caregivers meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
- Lead the practical skills portion of trainings and re-trainings.
- Supervise clinical team/caregiver performance and conduct formal evaluations.
- Perform timely assessments of client changes in condition and inform healthcare team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
- Ability to travel to client homes and other locations 50-75% of the time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10-15 pounds.
- Must be able to lift, turn, and transfer patients weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
- Ability to use standard office equipment.
- Timely and accurate positive fingerprint identification for California-based applicants.
- Conditional offers may be rescinded for applicants with non-exemptible crime convictions.
Skills
- Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to document timely and accurately in system.
- Ability to provide care in a variety of settings.
