About the Role
This position provides maintenance for plant equipment including mixers, pumps, screw conveyors, motors, bearings, gear boxes, hydraulic systems, and maintenance welding.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ability and desire to learn skills for advancement.
- Understand and demonstrate basic electrical safety.
- Possess required tools.
- Properly and safely use hand tools.
- Operate MC Cart, Fork Lift, and Man Lift.
- Use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, ruler, square, etc.).
- Demonstrate above-average accuracy of work regarding EHS.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess a valid US Driver’s License.
- Able to work any shift.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in an industrial environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Able to perform physical labor.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Verifiable experience or schooling in the Industrial Mechanical Field.
- Score at least 40% on the Mechanical Maintenance Technician test.
- Demonstrate the ability and desire to learn skills for advancement.
- Understand and demonstrate basic electrical safety.
- Possess required tools.
- Properly and safely use hand tools.
- Use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, ruler, square, etc.).
- Demonstrate above-average accuracy of work regarding EHS.
- Competent in the requirements of the Mechanical Maint. Agreement.
