About the Role
Ramsay Clinic - Wentworthville is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to provide administrative support and assistance to patients and their families upon their arrival to the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support and assistance to patients and their families upon their arrival to the clinic.
- Manage a busy flow of multiple doctor’s appointment diaries, phone calls, emails etc.
- Coordinate with staff from other departments.
- Complete clerical tasks such as data entry, billing, banking, and stationary order.
Requirements
- Enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service.
- Ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy flow of multiple doctor’s appointment diaries, phone calls, emails etc.
- Strong communication, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a team of doctors, nurses, psychologists, administrators, clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Computer literacy including the Microsoft Office suite of Programs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of a specialist practice setting.
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
- Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
