About the Role
As a Host Supervisor, you will be the first point of contact for guests, welcoming and guiding them to ensure an effortless and unforgettable visit. You will embody New York hospitality, sharing insights about the venue and helping guests maximize their experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with professionalism, warmth, and personality.
- Answer phones with a warm personality and a smile.
- Make, verify, and adjust guest reservations using Resy.
- Provide clear directions and prompt answers to guest questions with a guest-first mindset.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side duties to ensure smooth hall operations.
- Support cleanliness by maintaining inviting and safe walkways and common areas.
- Collaborate with team members to create a seamless guest experience.
- Communicate guest feedback and questions to management.
- Represent the Pick & Cheese brand with pride, positivity, and genuine hospitality.
- Assist management in maintaining service standards.
- Maintain the Resy Guest Book to build a catalog and increase repeat guest retention.
- Guide, mentor, and lead the host team to elevate the overall guest experience.
Requirements
- Prior NYC hospitality or restaurant experience is required.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
