About the Role
As an Associate Account Manager, you will be a product consultant in the Advanced Wound Management portfolio, specializing in Advanced Wound Care, Advanced Wound Devices, and Advanced Wound Biologics. You will make a significant difference in people's lives around the world.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow defined business categories within the Advanced Wound Management Business Unit in the assigned territory.
- Ensure access to technologies for patients through outstanding customer service.
- Deliver sales targets in cooperation with the Senior Territory Manager.
- Develop and present territory/account sales strategies for management approval.
- Maintain market and account analysis models.
- Accurately forecast business, considering market analysis, pricing, competitive landscape, and other information.
- Develop strategies to improve sales and increase market share for all product lines.
- Ensure the implementation of therapy promotional/sales programs in conjunction with marketing, communication, education, clinical, and training departments.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
- Coordinate and liaise with Account Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and other Smith & Nephew businesses regarding activities within the assigned territory.
- Set country/district/territory guidelines to leverage resources and coordinate shared services within the district network.
- Provide business and field input for regional initiatives and support their implementation.
- Assist with the execution of Medical Education programs to support HCP education.
- Establish relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KELs) to understand product performance, market trends, and opportunities.
- Inform tender management strategies and contribute to strategy development for Advanced Wound Management RFPs, Quotations, Contracts, and Enquiries.
- Attend and participate in key professional congresses and events.
- Build strong business relationships with key decision makers and those influential in the purchasing process.
Requirements
- Understanding of the dynamics of selling across the healthcare system.
- Ability to sell in a value-based HC system.
- Proficiency in using CRM sales tools.
- Ability to implement and lead account management strategies.
- Must successfully complete the credentialing process and comply with healthcare facility requirements, including potential vaccine protocols.
