About the Role

Waste Connections is seeking a Local Garbage Truck Driver in Pflugerville, TX. This role involves driving a Residential Garbage Truck on specified routes to collect and transport solid waste. The position is physically demanding, requiring team-based work on the back of the truck for the initial 6-12 months, with opportunities for promotion to other routes.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Residential Garbage Truck with another driver on specified routes.
• Collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites.
• Work on the back of the garbage truck as part of a team.

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL required.
• Must possess a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 65 lbs throughout a 10+ hour shift.
