About the Role
The Sales Associate will represent Club Pilates to potential clients, drive new prospect acquisition, and close sales on memberships, private training, teacher training, and retail merchandise. This role also focuses on member retention through exceptional customer service. A fitness background is preferred but not required; strong sales experience is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close
- Conduct studio tours, build relationships, and identify prospective member needs
- Maintain personal sales production levels
- Emphasize and enforce the studio's fitness and wellness objectives
- Present available services to current or prospective members
- Book quality appointments to meet monthly sales quotas
- Participate in promotional events such as health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community events
- Develop selling skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills
- Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve sales targets
- Ability to learn and utilize the Club Ready software system
- Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours
- Sufficient hearing for in-person and telephone conversations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Professional and effective communication with clients and colleagues
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Daily and/or occasional travel may be required
