About the Role

We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our team in London, Ontario, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in developing, implementing, and sustaining preventive maintenance programs that support the reliability and performance of our manufacturing assets. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will help drive effective maintenance strategies, optimize asset performance, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, influencing technical decisions, and making a meaningful impact on operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain master data in CMMS and create and maintain BOMs
  • Ensure maintenance routines compliance and address unplanned stoppages
  • Deliver budget optimization targets and champion critical documentation systems
  • Participate in Total Performance Management (TPM) and work group activities
  • Follow all job-related guidelines and procedures for personal safety, food safety, environment, and company security
  • Support continuous improvement and capital projects
  • Act as the maintenance representative for interdepartmental initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or food processing environment is preferred
  • Technical college diploma required
  • High proficiency in CMMS required
  • Demonstrated advanced to expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions) and Power BI required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, including components like valves, cylinders, and pumps
  • Preference for candidates with experience working with packaging equipment and/or within a food manufacturing facility

Skills

  • CMRP designation is considered an asset
  • Experience with SAP is highly desirable
  • Total Performance Management (TPM) experience is considered an asset
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues internally and externally
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Knowledge of Nielsen & Canva

  • CAD 85,000 – CAD 95,000 + bonus eligibility
