About the Role

We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our team in London, Ontario, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in developing, implementing, and sustaining preventive maintenance programs that support the reliability and performance of our manufacturing assets. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will help drive effective maintenance strategies, optimize asset performance, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, influencing technical decisions, and making a meaningful impact on operational success.

Responsibilities

Maintain master data in CMMS and create and maintain BOMs
Ensure maintenance routines compliance and address unplanned stoppages
Deliver budget optimization targets and champion critical documentation systems
Participate in Total Performance Management (TPM) and work group activities
Follow all job-related guidelines and procedures for personal safety, food safety, environment, and company security
Support continuous improvement and capital projects
Act as the maintenance representative for interdepartmental initiatives

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or food processing environment is preferred
Technical college diploma required
High proficiency in CMMS required
Demonstrated advanced to expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions) and Power BI required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics, including components like valves, cylinders, and pumps
Preference for candidates with experience working with packaging equipment and/or within a food manufacturing facility

Skills

CMRP designation is considered an asset
Experience with SAP is highly desirable
Total Performance Management (TPM) experience is considered an asset
Ability to build relationships with colleagues internally and externally
Excellent communication and project management skills
Knowledge of Nielsen & Canva
