About the Role

Our New York office is looking for a Banking and Finance associate with two to five years of experience in transactional lending, preferably leveraged-lending. The position will involve both drafting and negotiating commitment papers, terms sheets, credit agreements and security documents.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and negotiating commitment papers
  • Drafting and negotiating terms sheets
  • Drafting and negotiating credit agreements
  • Drafting and negotiating security documents

Requirements

  • Two to five years of experience in transactional lending, preferably leveraged-lending
  • Prior experience performing drafting and negotiating duties is helpful
  • Preference for an associate that has direct lending or private equity sponsor-side experience
  • Experience working for banks and lending counsel is also helpful
  • Applicants must be admitted to the New York Bar
