About the Role
Cypress Creek Energy is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain to develop and operate energy infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, quick learning, teamwork, organization, and clear communication with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic procurement initiatives for project development and construction.
- Plan major equipment procurement in collaboration with Development, Engineering, and Project Management.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across departments.
- Issue, manage, and evaluate RFPs for equipment procurement.
- Lead negotiations for equipment supply agreements.
- Ensure equipment meets bankability, performance, and reliability standards.
- Manage logistics and scheduling for on-time equipment delivery.
- Support and maintain supplier relationships, focusing on PV modules, BESS, inverters, racking, transformers, and breakers.
- Act as a subject matter expert on supply chain trends, technology evolution, and market dynamics.
- Manage the company's view on future product costs and performance roadmaps.
- Collect and report on global market, commodity, and policy assessments.
- Manage and update company policies as needed.
Requirements
- 6-8+ years of supply chain experience in the solar or electric utility industry.
- B.S. in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of CCE, including executives.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
- Experience in strategic category management for High Voltage Equipment (transformers and breakers, specifically) is preferred.
- Experience in direct support of capital construction projects is preferred.
- Experience developing processes and procedures is preferred.
- Experience with strategy/forecasting/communication is a plus.
