About the Role
Adjuvant Behavioral Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to prescribe medication and provide essential clinical services, supporting patients in overcoming dependencies and improving their psychiatric well-being.
Responsibilities
- Prescribe medication to patients to assist them in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, or making positive changes for their psychiatric well-being.
- Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports to satisfy Joint Commission accreditation, insurance payers, and Adjuvant Behavioral Health Operations Manual.
- Evaluate clients' physical or mental condition, based on review of client information.
- Collaborate with other staff members to perform clinical assessments or develop treatment plans.
- Refer patients, clients, or family members to ABH IOP, community resources or to specialists as necessary.
- Modify treatment activities or approaches as needed to comply with changes in clients' status.
- Complete administrative documentation for every client, including intake notes, progress notes, lab orders, and e-prescribing documentation.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited educational institution.
- ANCC - Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (PMHNP) certification.
- Hold a valid DEA.
