About the Role

The Motor Vehicle Operator (MVO) is a critical position involved in the safe and efficient transportation of patients. This role requires constant communication with patients, facilities, and coworkers, and is responsible for operating and maintaining the company ambulance and equipment while adhering to traffic laws.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the company ambulance and equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of and follow applicable traffic laws.
• Respond to ambulance calls as dispatched.
• Transport patients to their destination safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Valid NYS driver's license.
• Must possess and maintain a clean driving record to be insured.
• Must be able to safely lift 250 lbs. with assistance.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Applicants will be checked against the Sex Offender Registry as required by NYS law.
