About the Role

The Territory Manager is responsible for promoting, strategically positioning, and driving sustainable sales growth of the division's product portfolio among healthcare professionals, primarily specialists in ophthalmology and psychiatry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and expand a strategic network of healthcare professionals and key stakeholders within the assigned territory.
  • Acquire and maintain a strong understanding of scientific data, therapeutic indications, and clinical practice challenges.
  • Identify, segment, and prioritize key customers based on territory potential and strategic objectives.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and adapt a territory business plan aligned with commercial goals.
  • Execute approved promotional initiatives to optimize product performance and adoption.
  • Apply a customer-centric approach reflecting patient needs and clinical practice.
  • Navigate complex healthcare environments, including competitive dynamics, reimbursement, and hospital systems.
  • Participate in clinical and strategic discussions to reinforce product value.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales management, marketing, medical affairs, market access).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role selling specialty products.
  • Established network or ability to build strong relationships with specialists in ophthalmology, psychiatry, and/or rheumatology.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas, clinical data, indications, and the competitive landscape.
  • Good understanding of patient access processes and pharmaceutical product commercial dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and execution skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
  • Proven commitment to ethical conduct and regulatory compliance.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends and travel as required.
  • Valid driver’s license.
