About the Role
As an Account Supervisor on the Public Health & Social Impact team, you will manage the planning, execution, and financial oversight of client programs with a focus on patient storytelling. You will serve as the daily client lead, manage projects independently, and contribute to new business efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and cultivate relationships with clients and external audiences.
- Counsel clients based on the communications landscape and business goals.
- Direct planning and execution of projects ensuring timeliness, efficiency, and high-quality delivery.
- Draft client communications materials, including emails, proposals, newsletters, reports, press releases, video scripts, and social media content.
- Handle issues management and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
- Lead the development of client budgets and SOWs, track monthly financials, and mentor junior staff on financials.
- Lead client interactions and liaise with external partners.
- Research, develop, and present new business proposals.
- Participate in new business pitches.
- Identify and realize opportunities for organic account growth.
- Use data to drive agency recommendations and idea generation.
- Seek out professional development opportunities and skillset growth.
- Share knowledge and keep teams engaged during meetings.
- Support the team by driving quality and direction on day-to-day tasks.
- Provide direct and constructive feedback to team members.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or health/science related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' communications or related marketing/advocacy/health experience.
- US/global health issues or health product communications experience.
- Experience managing resources and budgets.
- Experience with media relations strategy and social media landscape.
- Demonstrated proactive, entrepreneurial, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Recognized project management ability.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion about improving lives through innovations in health.
- An understanding of current issues in domestic and global health.
- A willingness to travel.
