About the Role
The Senior Account Manager manages accounts and project teams, delivering tailored solutions and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. They build strong customer relationships and are responsible for meeting revenue and margin goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and drive revenue opportunities within existing accounts.
- Develop and nurture client relationships to increase revenue and profitability.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of client needs and business practices.
- Act as the single point of contact for Insidesource activities.
- Ensure overall performance of Insidesource account/project teams.
- Accountable for end-to-end client experience and satisfaction.
- Provide timely responses to customer requests.
- Ensure generation of weekly status reports.
- Manage relevant third-party influencers in relation to client accounts/projects.
- Enter and maintain sales forecast in CRM.
- Partner with New Business Development/Account Executives on RFPs and service requests.
- Produce plans, develop specifications, generate quotes, and present to customers.
- Develop and execute service contracts and service level agreements.
- Manage the close of sale requirements.
- Identify, document, and resolve obstacles and scope changes.
- Oversee and direct Insidesource implementation of client projects.
- Review and establish work plans, schedules, and logistics.
- Oversee work of all team members, including designers, project managers, and installation crews.
- Perform project management responsibilities, including site visits.
- Provide project and work order status reports.
- Attend project and construction meetings as required.
- Provide leadership and communication to customer and internal teams.
- Achieve annual sales goals.
- Manage positive interactions of internal and external teams.
- Manage workload of internal teams to ensure balanced support.
- Provide mentorship and encourage team member growth.
- Participate in weekly Sales Meetings and Monthly Staff Meetings.
- Attend industry events.

Requirements
- Account Management experience in the contract furniture industry required.
- Experience working on RFPs.
- Product knowledge and product specification experience.
- Ability to lead and inspire cross functional players.
- Eye for design and layout of marketing materials.
- Solid skills in copy-editing, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
- Proficiency in Adobe Systems (Photoshop, InDesign) CORE, Hubspot, Miro, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Understanding of the complexities and sophistication required to thrive in the dealer environment.
- Fluid interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a wide range of customers, vendors, personnel, and departments.
- Ability to see the big picture and integrate into day-to-day tasks and activities.
- Excellent and effective oral and written communication.
- Prior experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Experience in customer service required.
