About the Role

American Housing Corporation is seeking a video-first content creator to document and promote their innovative approach to homebuilding. This role involves owning content strategy, ideation, and production to showcase a company reinventing the industry.

Responsibilities

• Ideate new content formats and series aligned with the company's mission.
• Pitch concepts and creative direction to the executive team.
• Collaborate on content roadmap, tone-of-voice, and style.
• Manage content planning across social channels, focusing on video for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Direct content production from concept to delivery, including scripting, storyboarding, filming, editing, and distribution.
• Source and manage freelancers, contractors, and equipment rentals.
• Operate on camera (hosting, interviewing) and off camera (directing, shooting, editing).
• Maintain a content library and document manufacturing, construction, and behind-the-scenes processes.
• Distribute and adapt content across social platforms.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Track content performance and iterate based on audience engagement.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience building and scaling a social brand with audience growth.
• Experience in creative direction, storytelling, videography, and editing.
• A passion for homebuilding, technology, or design.
• Ability to lead solo shoots and coordinate larger productions.
• Experience managing a content production team.
• Fluency across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, with an understanding of platform distinctions.
• Experience interviewing guests or hosting on camera.
• Ability to balance personal creative vision with brand objectives.
• Comfortable presenting concepts to executives and incorporating feedback.
• Proactive and able to operate with minimal oversight.
