About the Role

The Digital Engagement and Campaigns Manager leads a small team responsible for social media, campaign content, and targeted visibility initiatives for Alto, covering Quebec, Ontario, and national, hyperlocal, and targeted markets. This role is both strategic and operational, involving priority setting, team support, internal and agency coordination, and direct contribution to content planning, creation, optimization, analysis, and performance tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate content for social media, newsletters, campaigns, presentations, and other digital channels, ensuring clear, consistent, and platform-adapted messaging.
  • Contribute directly to content development, including writing, revising, validating, preparing creative briefs, adapting messages, and preparing content for approval and publication.
  • Oversee social media planning, publishing, monitoring, moderation, and escalation in collaboration with the social media engagement team.
  • Coordinate targeted visibility initiatives for Quebec, Ontario, and national, hyperlocal, and targeted markets, including sponsored placements, partner distribution, search engine visibility, audience segmentation, budget tracking, performance monitoring, and coordination with external agencies or media partners.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, content experts, and external agencies to gather information, align messages, manage timelines, and ensure deliverable progress.
  • Maintain and update editorial calendars, content tracking tools, campaign plans, approval processes, and accountability tools for efficient and transparent activity management.
  • Analyze performance data, social listening, and campaign results to identify effective approaches, adjust tactics, and provide concrete recommendations to the team and management.
  • Ensure adherence to Alto's brand image, communication tone, accessibility standards, bilingualism requirements, and organizational communication priorities.
  • Stay informed about digital, social, and content trends and identify realistic opportunities to improve Alto's online presence and content strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, digital media, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in content strategy, digital communications, social media, marketing communications, or integrated campaign planning.
  • Experience in managing, coaching, or coordinating the work of communications, content, social media, or marketing professionals.
  • Excellent strategic judgment and strong editorial sense, with the ability to transform complex issues into clear, relevant content adapted to different target audiences.
  • Solid expertise in digital, social, SEO, and targeted content campaigns, including planning, media buying coordination, audience segmentation, optimization, and performance analysis for Quebec, Ontario, national, hyperlocal, and targeted markets.
  • Experience collaborating with external agencies, creative partners, media partners, or digital vendors for integrated initiatives.
  • Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and consulting skills, with the ability to influence internal partners and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities, deadlines, approval processes, and cross-functional dependencies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Full bilingualism (French and English), both oral and written, with professional proficiency in both languages.
