About the Role
As a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, you'll directly shape how organizations leverage technology to achieve critical business objectives across hybrid cloud, security, and infrastructure modernization. You'll drive meaningful transformation by aligning enterprise-wide technology investments with operational goals that deliver measurable business value. This billable, client-facing position allows you to build deep executive relationships while solving complex infrastructure challenges that position clients for competitive advantage and long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with C-suite executives and the senior management team to align enterprise technology strategy with business objectives, driving measurable outcomes across hybrid cloud, security, disaster recovery, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Contribute to the strategic planning process; identify and cultivate future business development opportunities.
- Provide a hands-on, proactive leadership style with sufficient technical knowledge to serve as an effective problem-solving resource.
- Demonstrate superior presentation and communication skills to effectively convey strategic and operational goals, and to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead high-impact consulting engagements including compliance assessments, security audits, technology roadmaps, and multi-year budget planning that position clients for competitive advantage and operational excellence.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying strategic business development opportunities, supporting sales cycles with technical credibility, and crafting compelling RFPs and proposals that win deals.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with senior leadership teams, serving as their go-to strategic technology partner while fostering collaboration across clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Shape the future of client organizations by delivering continuous improvement in service quality, leading transformational projects, and championing innovation that accelerates business growth and resilience.
- Maintain billable hours, serving the clients of Nexustek as a member of their senior management team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years IT/IS management and managed services experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior architecture role; networking, security, systems, and applications.
- Verifiable record of substantive accomplishment in a senior IT leadership role.
- Broad understanding of infrastructure hardware and software systems including storage and security for data center hosted applications and virtual and private cloud solutions.
- Extensive experience in cloud migrations, architecture, pre-sales engineering, technology selection, and project management.
- Proven ability to manage the entire spectrum of information technology and information and communication systems and operations.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and integrating information technology initiatives and leading effective, cohesive teams in diverse organizations with multiple sites across state lines or large geographical areas.
