About the Role

Contribute to all communications and media relations activities at a prestigious art and luxury business. Develop and execute public relations programs aligned with the company's mission, vision, and growth strategy. This role involves media outreach, planning press campaigns, and fulfilling media requests.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, pitch, execute, and track creative press campaigns across various departments.
  • Develop and implement media relations strategies to promote auctions, exhibitions, and initiatives.
  • Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with media professionals.
  • Field incoming inquiries from journalists.
  • Work with external PR consultants to support the communications strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal groups to ensure project alignment.
  • Conduct market research on relevant publications and recommend new channels.
  • Assist with internal communications to support the company’s vision and strategy.
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining databases and collating press clippings.
  • Plan and deliver media events, photo calls, filming, and photography.
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and communications strategy performance.
  • Draft and send company-wide press coverage updates.
  • Partner with staff to build communication capacity and embed effective strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-6 years of professional public relations experience.
  • Experience in art-related, design, or luxury PR is a must.
  • Track record of leading press campaigns and securing coverage.
  • Strong writing skills required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
