About the Role

Fidelity's Electronic Trading team is seeking a Director to lead the strategy and evolution of CrossStream, our off-exchange trading venue, while helping shape the future of our broader electronic trading business. This role combines strategic planning, analytical problem-solving, and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the business strategy, analytics, and regulatory governance of CrossStream.
  • Identify growth opportunities through data analysis.
  • Partner with teams across Fidelity to enhance trading capabilities.
  • Expand partnerships with broker-dealers and trading technology providers.
  • Drive the continued growth of Fidelity's electronic trading business.

Requirements

  • Combine strong technical and analytical capabilities with a passion for driving business strategy.
  • Develop expertise in electronic trading, market structure, quantitative analysis, or technology.
  • Independently analyze business performance, identify opportunities, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
  • Comfortably move between detailed analysis and strategic discussions.
  • Build credibility through expertise, thoughtful problem-solving, and strong communication.
  • Independently query and analyze large datasets using SQL, q or similar tools.
  • Coordinate complex initiatives across business, technology, trading, compliance, and operations teams.
  • Communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and external partners.
  • Develop commercial strategies, identify growth opportunities, and cultivate industry partnerships.
  • Bring curiosity, initiative, sound judgment, and a desire to continuously learn.
  • Enjoy solving complex problems, working with data, and helping shape the direction of a growing business.
