About the Role
The Client Manager supports Producers, Client Advocates, Client Executives, Senior Client Managers, and the account team in managing client service delivery for assigned Charter School accounts. This client-facing role utilizes professional skills in commercial property and casualty insurance to enhance and expand client relationships, directly supporting client relationship management efforts and coordinating service activity.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, mail, and e-mail professionally and courteously, adhering to agency guidelines.
- Maintain proper file documentation by recording all phone calls, correspondence, faxes, and emails in Sagitta and Image Right.
- Prioritize workflow and follow standard procedures for processing applications, policy changes, renewals, endorsements, audits, and cancellations.
- Accurately process policy changes on carrier websites or via email and follow up with carriers for timely processing.
- Assume ownership of customer concerns and feedback until a successful resolution is achieved.
- Review client exposures, loss experience, and current coverage to provide proactive solutions and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Remarket accounts according to agency guidelines, considering the current program and providing alternative options if warranted.
- Assist with soliciting new accounts and retaining existing accounts, identifying cross-selling opportunities.
- Comply with all internal procedures and practices while meeting service performance and quality standards.
- Contribute to team efforts by openly sharing insurance knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of prior Commercial Insurance experience.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to assess insurance coverage needs.
- Excellent communication and diplomacy skills to resolve client issues.
- Articulate, well-organized, and focused.
- Goal-oriented, highly motivated, and resourceful to achieve results.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant company proprietary databases.
- Experience with an agency management system such as Sagitta is a plus.
