About the Role
EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking an experienced product, planning, and design expert for its Life & Executive Benefits platform. This role will advise clients on the best life insurance options and build reviews, supporting RIAs, P&C and Employee Benefit professionals, CPA and Law Firms, private equity firms, and high-net-worth individuals and corporations. The position involves strategy and execution, including development, positioning, creativity, and implementation of effective strategies aligned with client goals.
Responsibilities
- Support key external and internal clients
- Manage multiple, concurrent projects and deliverables
- Assist in developing strategies, planning, and coordinating efforts
- Communicate plans to stakeholders
- Build awareness and positioning
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand financial needs, goals, and risk tolerance
- Analyze life insurance policies to determine the best fit for clients' financial plans
- Provide tailored recommendations on life insurance policies
- Assist clients with the application process, policy management, and coverage adjustments
- Educate clients on the benefits and features of annuity and life insurance solutions
- Ensure all recommendations and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Collaborate with advisors and team members to integrate annuity and life insurance solutions into comprehensive financial plans
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the life insurance industry and individual life products (UL, IUL, VUL, Term, WL) and product illustration systems
- Prepare for client meetings, including paperwork and presentation materials
- Prepare and deliver correspondence and other client communication
- Work collaboratively with Advisors throughout the planning process
- Work proactively in all facets of the role, seeking new opportunities
- Respond to clients professionally
- Maintain Carrier product information, rate changes, and rules
Requirements
- Experience with Life Insurance products is required
- Minimum two-three years of related experience
- Experience in insurance and financial services
- Experts in life portfolio
- Working knowledge of Insurance industry software
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem-solving and client service
- Proven track record with cross-training, task-sharing and mutually supportive teamwork
- Ability to innovate, proactively manage time and follow through to complete tasks
- Proven experience working in client support, portfolio management, relationship management or paraplanner role, within the financial services industry
- Diplomacy and strong business acumen with proven experience positively influencing others and developing and improving business processes
- Advanced computer skills and proficiency in AI, Claude, Microsoft Office products and CRM applications
- Highly organized with project management skills; ability to shift and reorganize to accommodate change
- Ability to prioritize workflow and requests based on stated needs of advisor and client relationships and their meaningfulness and impact to the business unit
- Equivalent level of passion for team success compared to individual career path
- Ability to portray confidence, persuasiveness, and credibility over the phone, in virtual meetings and potentially in person

Salary/Compensations
- $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 base pay
