About the Role
Lead Sales Estimator responsible for leading a team, completing project estimates, and conceptualizing designs. The role involves client interaction, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting sales growth. Requires an innovative, creative, and team-oriented individual capable of leading by example in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead a team of Estimators in multiple locations across Canada
- Meet clients in showroom and onsite to understand space being designed
- Prepare pricing estimates for projects and submit written proposals to clients
- Coordinate the supply of railing products for project sites
- Maintain and monitor schedules to ensure on-time, high-quality installations
- Assist in monitoring construction conformity and compliance with plans, specifications, and codes
- Participates in various departmental and interdepartmental meeting or training as required
- Prequalify potential clients with appropriate questions to establish budget, timelines, and compatibility, prepare quotations and site installation meetings as required
- Manage clients’ expectations by informing them of company processes, policies, and timelines
- Manage and plan workflow for the entire design process from start to finish
- Update clients of business changes such as product offering, pricing, or assembly options
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with within aluminum railings
- Ability to read architectural drawings and specifications
- Reliability, integrity, passion and in-person presentation skills with a strong ability to establish relationships and close deals
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Must be flexible with work hours
