About the Role
The Application Analyst will serve as a functional-technical expert for the organization’s Ivalua Source to Pay platform, including integrations to ERP systems. This role blends application configuration, integration troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and cross-functional support, requiring hands-on experience with APIs, middleware, and data transformation.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance integrations between Ivalua EAIs/ETLs and enterprise systems or 3rd party transaction partners using APIs, flat file transfers (SFTP), middleware orchestrations, and real-time data flows.
- Analyze JSON/XML payloads, authentication flows, SQL queries, and integration logs to resolve data or mapping issues.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Ivalua modules across Procurement, Invoicing, Sourcing, and Contracts, including EAIs/ETLs, business rules, workflows, forms, catalogs, and custom fields.
- Propose scalable, maintainable solutions for evolving business requirements and identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve system reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve application defects, data discrepancies, and integration failures in partnership with IT and business teams, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Co-lead unit testing, regression testing, and UAT cycles for new features, integrations, patches/hotfixes, and releases/upgrades.
- Work directly with Ivalua support and implementation/consulting partners to prioritize and deliver enhancements, resolve bugs, and manage escalations.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and IT stakeholders to understand business needs, provide high-quality support, and document functional and technical specifications.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support, guidance, and best practices for procurement processes and transaction completion.
- Maintain role-based access and compliance controls across the S2P platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 2+ years supporting Ivalua or another enterprise S2P platform (e.g. SAP Ariba, Coupa).
- Strong understanding of business processes and data structures for procurement, sourcing, invoicing, supplier management, and contracts.
- Hands-on experience with building and supporting integrations between systems using APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), SFTP, and integration middleware (such as Boomi, MuleSoft, SAP PI/PO, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret JSON, XML, SQL, and integration logs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
