About the Role
As a Senior Cost Manager at Linesight, you will work with highly experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams. Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the tender/bid process, from initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
- Manage the change management process, including identifying, analyzing, approving, and implementing changes affecting project cost.
- Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
- Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including handling claims.
- Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
- Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and communicate variations.
- Support project management and decision-making through cost documentation and communication.
- Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims.
- Foster employee performance and growth through mentorship and leadership.
Requirements
- Experience as a Senior Cost Manager, ideally from a consultancy background.
- Experience in pre-contract cost management.
- Experience in budget control and cost planning.
- Experience preparing and initiating change forms for discussion with project stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable on alternative construction materials.
- Chartered or on the path to becoming chartered.
- Excellent communicator verbally and in writing.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, managing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to build strong relationships with team and clients.
