About the Role
Exolaunch is seeking a Product Manager with a strong electronics background to own the know-how around electronic devices used in flight hardware and ground support equipment. This role involves working closely with mission management and technical teams, identifying product improvements, and coordinating technical changes. You will be a key contact for electronics topics in customer discussions and launch operations, contributing to both existing electronics improvement and new device development.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain deep technical knowledge of electronic devices.
- Act as a key point of contact for electronics-related questions.
- Support mission managers with technical expertise.
- Join customer or mission-related calls as the electronics expert.
- Identify opportunities to improve electronic products, devices, and processes.
- Review technical issues, identify root causes, and suggest improvements.
- Implement selected technical improvements.
- Coordinate electronics-related improvements with external contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support the development of new electronics for flight hardware and ground support devices.
- Maintain and improve technical documentation, product knowledge, and internal know-how.
- Provide electronics-related support during launch preparation and operations.
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in electronics, hardware development, embedded systems, technical product ownership, or a similar technical role.
- Solid understanding of electronic devices, hardware systems, technical documentation, schematics, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to understand complex technical topics and translate them into clear explanations.
- Experience working with external contractors, suppliers, or engineering partners is a strong plus.
- Structured, analytical, and hands-on working style.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate technical topics across different stakeholders.
- Team-oriented mindset, curiosity, and willingness to build deep product knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with various stakeholders.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- German is considered a plus.
