About the Role

As a Technical Lead for CRM Experience, you will provide hands-on technical leadership across the full stack of Method’s CRM suite. You will lead the delivery of new apps, reusable components, customer-facing features, and the runtime capabilities that power them. You will help the team move quickly from idea to production—shaping architecture, breaking down complex initiatives, maintaining a high standard for testing and observability, and enabling developers to ship valuable improvements continuously. Your work will span React experiences, configurable stock apps, C#/.NET services, data and messaging systems, integrations, and the extensibility foundations behind Method’s no-code platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of new CRM apps, cross-app workflows, and reusable components such as Kanban boards, timelines, grids, and data-driven views.
  • Own initiatives end to end—from technical discovery and architecture through implementation, rollout, measurement, and iteration.
  • Help the team ship small, safe improvements frequently through strong automated testing, observability, feature controls, and release practices.
  • Build platform capabilities that can be reused across Method’s stock apps and extended through customer customization.
  • Balance rapid feature delivery with thoughtful modernization of the frontend, backend runtime, and no-code foundations.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and QA to turn customer problems into coherent experiences rather than isolated features.
  • Lead technical discussions within your team and across cross functional meetings, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Drive project execution. Lead the technical breakdown, estimation, and planning of large features, collaborating closely with Product Managers and QA.
  • Design, build, and optimize core platform systems, including the Business Rules Engine and Data Access Layer, to support complex no code business logic.
  • Architect and implement event driven architecture patterns, ensuring reliable and scalable asynchronous communication across the platform using messaging systems such as SQS.
  • Lead technical integrations with complex third party APIs to extend platform capabilities and support customer use cases.
  • Own the technical implementation of advanced product logic, including areas such as multi warehouse and inventory management systems.
  • Work hands on with tools in AWS, SQS, C#, SQL, .NET, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and React where needed.
  • Make data informed decisions based on system performance metrics, user analytics, and customer feedback.
  • Design and ensure robust, scalable, and observable architecture for critical backend and platform functionalities.
  • Identify and implement areas of improvement within the SDLC, including pipelines, testing, monitoring, performance, and system reliability.
  • Provide technical oversight through rigorous code reviews, technical mentorship, and strategic guidance, leveraging AI assisted tools where applicable.
  • Represent your team's technical roadmap and platform initiatives in department wide meetings, presenting updates and addressing architectural concerns.
  • Provide coaching and technical guidance to developers on complex problem-solving, design patterns, and platform best practices to support their growth as engineers.
  • Participate in technical interviews to assess candidates' technical skills and contribute to the overall hiring recommendation.
  • Collaborate with QA, PMs, and other cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and project interdependencies.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in modern C#/.NET, including the modernization of legacy services, Web APIs, and backend design patterns.
  • Proven ability to architect high-performance data access layers and SQL/data design within large-scale systems.
  • Professional experience working with event driven architecture and messaging systems such as SQS, with a solid understanding of asynchronous system design and reliability patterns.
  • Experience designing systems that support complex business logic, abstraction layers, or reusable engines and frameworks, with the ability to think in meta logic and build platforms that enable others to configure or extend functionality.
  • Strong track record of integrating complex third party REST or SOAP APIs into a core product environment.
  • Experience with React and familiarity with front end technologies such as Razor, Blazor, and vanilla JavaScript.
  • Comfortable collaborating on user facing features while primarily operating in backend and platform domains.
  • Deep experience with persistence storage (SQL and NoSQL), React collaboration, and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Mastery of automated testing, observability, caching, and CI/CD tools.
  • Makes and communicates sound technical trade-offs while leading through influence.
  • Creates clarity from ambiguity and mentors developers through rigorous design and code reviews.
  • Turns incidents or delivery problems into durable improvements for the platform and team.
  • 1-3 years of technical leadership experience, such as Lead Developer, Principal Engineer, or Tech Lead on significant, complex projects.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in software development, ideally in production-level applications.
  • Experience designing or operating production AI-enabled or agentic systems, including tool/function calling, workflow orchestration, grounded generation or RAG, evaluation and tracing, guardrails, human-in-the-loop review, or secure integration with APIs and business data.
  • Familiarity with MCP or comparable agent-to-tool contracts is an asset.
