About the Role
The Parent Ambassador is a part-time, community-facing role that supports the student recruitment efforts of Integration Charter Schools. This role serves as a trusted voice and representative of the school community, helping to attract prospective families by sharing firsthand experience as a current or former ICS parent.
Responsibilities
- Represent Integration Charter Schools at recruitment events, community outreach activities, school fairs, and information sessions
- Engage prospective families in authentic conversations about the ICS experience, programs, and culture
- Assist the Assistant Director of Recruitment in executing outreach strategies and meeting enrollment goals
- Distribute recruitment materials throughout the community including local businesses, community centers, houses of worship, and neighborhood organizations
- Follow up with prospective families via phone, text, or in-person to answer questions and encourage enrollment
- Assist with the planning and execution of open houses and school tours
- Maintain accurate records of outreach contacts and activities as directed
- Serve as a positive, visible ambassador for ICS on social media and within personal networks
