About the Role
BSBI is seeking educators to shape the future and develop future leaders. This role involves teaching, curriculum development, and student supervision within an international business school environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct teaching and examination duties in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Creatively design and develop instructional materials to enhance student learning.
- Revise, design, and develop new curricula for assigned modules, ensuring alignment with academic standards.
- Develop and set examinations or assessment instruments, providing them at least two weeks prior to semester conclusion.
- Grade written examinations and assessment results within deadlines and submit evaluated materials promptly.
- Organize and facilitate the inspection of written examinations or assessed performances.
- Actively participate in teaching evaluations by completing and submitting evaluation sheets.
- Supervise student dissertations, providing guidance, feedback, and assessment.
Requirements
- PhD or PhD Candidate with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Strategy and Management, Global Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Sustainability, Rational Energy Management and Regulation (Energy Sector), Energy Certification, Technology Enterprise, and Engineering-based Energy Management.
- Prior teaching experience in higher education at University level.
- Very good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Teams.
- Scientific publications in a related discipline.
- Fluent in spoken and written English (C2 level).
- Knowledge of Educational Platforms (i.e. Canvas, Blackboard etc.).
- Working knowledge of timetabling software.
- Sound knowledge of study regulations and rules.
- Very good organizational and communication skills.
- High social competence and assertiveness.
- Ability to maintain an overview even with high workloads.
- Entrepreneurial and economic way of thinking and working.
- Resilient and flexible.
