About the Role

Change Grow Live is a charity dedicated to helping individuals change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals, and live life to its full potential. We are recruiting an Assertive Outreach Recovery Coordinator to work within the HMP Wandsworth Substance Misuse Psychosocial Interventions Service. The role involves assessing and engaging with service users to ensure they receive the right intervention at the right time.

Responsibilities

Work with service users to initiate recovery from drug and/or alcohol dependence.
Enable service users in prison to build their own recovery capital.
Support service users to move into long-term sustained recovery and social reintegration.
Deliver 1-1 and group psychosocial interventions.
Be creative and innovative to meet service user needs, promoting access into treatment.
Encourage engagement with underrepresented communities.

Requirements

Sensitivity in working with complex and diverse needs.
Demonstrate a strong recovery focus.
Knowledge of a range of psychosocial interventions.
Ability to manage change successfully while prioritizing service user needs.
Understand information governance processes and apply necessary safeguards.
Seek learning opportunities to improve professional knowledge and skills.
Contribute to and oversee the learning and development of others.
Must complete an enhanced DBS check.
Must obtain HMPPS security clearance.
Must have the right to work in the UK.
