About the Role
Medtronic is seeking a Marketing Leader to drive Neurovascular marketing and market development strategy across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH). This high-impact role requires a blend of strategic thinking, people leadership, and execution to foster therapy awareness, adoption, and sustainable growth in a complex and evolving market.
Responsibilities
- Lead the DACH Neurovascular marketing and market development strategy, aligned with Western European and global objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product and Market Development Specialists, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Lead annual strategic planning, including budget, resource allocation, and performance management.
- Translate customer, market, and competitive insights into clear priorities and growth opportunities.
- Drive therapy awareness, adoption, and market development across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient pathways, clinical workflows, and economics of care.
- Partner closely with Sales Leadership and the field organization to translate strategy into commercial execution.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key external stakeholders.
- Collaborate across Medical Education, Market Access, Clinical Research, Health Economics, Finance, Training & Education, Sales Excellence, and Legal/Compliance.
- Represent Neurovascular at regional meetings, congresses, and customer events.
- Monitor market and business performance and adapt strategy to maximize impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in MedTech, healthcare, HCP engagement, marketing, market development, or business transformation.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing or market development strategies.
- Experience leading teams and developing high-performing talent.
- Experience driving change or transformation across a regional or multi-country environment.
- Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with the ability to translate customer and market insights into business results.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative, agile, and outcome-focused approach.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% within DACH and internationally.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- French and/or Italian is an advantage.
- Facility-based immunization requirement: Full measles immunization is required.
