About the Role
Rockville Centre for Dentistry is seeking a Dental Assistant to join their team. The practice emphasizes extraordinary dental care with modern technology and techniques. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient interaction skills to ensure positive experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside dental assisting.
- Take traditional impressions.
- Fabricate night guards/whitening trays using a suck down unit and tools (helpful, but not required).
- Perform ZOOM Teeth Whitening procedures (familiarity helpful, but not required).
- Assist with multispecialty procedures including perio, oral surgery, sedation dentistry, implant placement, neuromodulators/dermal fillers (familiarity helpful, but not required).
- Assist with general, cosmetic, and family dentistry.
- Perform administrative/front desk duties (preferred, but not required).
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years chairside dental assisting experience.
- Strong computer skills required for a paperless and digital office.
- Proficiency with Dentrix Practice Management Software.
- Experience with DEXIS Digital Imaging and DTX Studio 3D/CBCT Imaging.
- Familiarity with iTero Scanner & Trios Scanner (helpful but not required).
- Willingness to be part of a team.
