About the Role

The Senior Portfolio Analyst (PA) acts as a subject matter resource for assigned T. Rowe Price investment strategies and franchises. The Senior PA is primarily responsible for analyzing investment portfolios and capabilities, supporting the commercial process around client queries and RfPs, and developing institutional-level portfolio analysis, messaging, and content to inform key stakeholders. This role focuses on supporting the T. Rowe Price Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) approach and its integration into the investment process, requiring expertise on broader ESG topics and awareness of the regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Support the full sales cycle on queries related to T. Rowe Price Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) approach.
  • Generate quality answers to support DDQs, RFPs and written commentaries; conduct portfolio analysis incorporating research from Responsible Investing and Corporate Governance teams, portfolio managers and Investment Strategists.
  • Lead the production of quarterly strategy updates for internal and external purposes.
  • Execute responsibilities using AI-enabled analytics and automation to aggregate data, perform recurring analysis, identify comparisons, synthesize information, and generate initial analytical outputs, subject to human review.
  • Participate in the production of forward-thinking ESG studies in collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Act as an investment resource for content creation, including custom presentations, exhibits, and analysis; identify and employ opportunities to leverage AI to improve speed, consistency, scalability, and quality of outputs.
  • Provide investment support for sales and marketing collateral, including development, review, and sign-off responsibilities.
  • Help with the development of education, onboarding, and training modules to build internal understanding of the T. Rowe Price Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) approach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years Asset Management experience in a related field.
  • Passion for Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) issues.
  • Proven experience using ESG analytical resources such as Sustainalytics and MSCI ESG Ratings.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, responsible, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and drive analytical projects to successful conclusions.
