About the Role

Meta is seeking a UX Researcher with deep mixed-methods expertise to drive strategic research across core product areas. This role involves leading large-scale research programs, translating complex findings into actionable insights, and shaping product strategy. The researcher will act as a company-level subject matter expert, elevating the craft of user experience research.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive research strategy and roadmap for large-scale, cross-functional product areas.
  • Identify high-impact research questions and translate ambiguous business problems into rigorous study designs.
  • Lead complex mixed-methods research programs integrating qualitative and quantitative approaches.
  • Design end-to-end data collection strategies to eliminate bias and represent diverse global user populations.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative findings into deep-level insights and compelling narratives.
  • Develop and communicate data visualizations and research frameworks for varied audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate research insights into product planning.
  • Coach and advise peers on research design, analytical frameworks, and research methods.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks in research methodology and project coordination.
  • Leverage AI tools to redesign research workflows, accelerate synthesis, and scale insight generation.
  • Build and maintain a network of cross-functional stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 13+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 11+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
  • Experience conducting mixed-methods UX research (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Experience independently leading large-scale, ambiguous, and cross-functional research programs.
  • Experience designing analytical frameworks and applying advanced qualitative and quantitative techniques.
  • Experience translating research findings into clear narratives and data visualizations.
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional partners.
  • Experience conducting research in Integrity, Security, Support, and/or Global + Developing countries.
