About the Role
This role is responsible for driving revenue within assigned accounts by developing and maintaining cross-departmental customer relationships. The individual will build an opportunity pipeline, identify customer requirements, and communicate Samsung's vision and industry trends. Success is measured by attainment of revenue and profit targets and sales demand creation.
Responsibilities
- Building sales growth for Regional Accounts.
- Meeting regularly with new and existing customers to become a trusted advisor.
- Developing an opportunity pipeline that identifies Customer requirements and how Samsung will meet them.
- Reviewing and revising plans monthly with Samsung Marketing to maximize sales within each Regional Account.
- Planning sku listings, targets, budgets, advertising, and promotions.
- Gathering weekly product forecasts by model by dealer and ensuring inventory forecasts match the promotional calendar by account.
- Reducing account-to-account friction through careful calendar, promotion, and sku scheduling.
- Controlling territory sales expenses in accordance with Company guidelines.
- Providing in-store support for locations, including weekly store visits and training.
- Collaborating with all accounts on joint business planning, brand management, in-store merchandising, and retail sales execution.
- Successfully completing mandated certifications in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other office products.
- Demonstrated ability to relationship sell within the given territory.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple and simultaneous related opportunities and programs in a changing CE industry.
- Ability to close new business within a given territory with minimal management intervention.
- Ability to make professional presentations and communicate effectively in writing and orally on sales matters.
- Must be self-motivated, hardworking, energetic, and a team player.
- Ability to develop account-specific and territory plans to ensure objectives are met.
