About the Role

We are recruiting a highly motivated and Dedicated Contract Support Security Officer to support operations at a prestigious, fast-paced corporate environment in the City of London. This role requires full flexibility to cover shifts including days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Report to the Security Control Room and operate under the direction of the Duty Shift Manager.
  • Act as a key point of contact, supporting colleagues and site management.
  • Maintain high visibility and respond promptly to operational requirements.
  • Proactively identify and escalate security or safety concerns.
  • Conduct regular internal and external patrols.
  • Provide break relief to ensure seamless security coverage.
  • Identify and report maintenance, safety, or security issues.
  • Deliver a professional and welcoming front-of-house presence.
  • Manage access control and visitor procedures.
  • Support events and high-profile visits.
  • Ensure a safe and well-managed environment for staff and visitors.
  • Assist with monitoring alarms, CCTV systems, and incidents.
  • Maintain accurate written and verbal reports.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Support secure and efficient loading bay activities.
  • Monitor contractor access, deliveries, and vehicle movements.
  • Maintain exceptional personal presentation.
  • Demonstrate a positive, confident, and approachable attitude.
  • Represent the security team and building with professionalism and integrity.

Requirements

  • Valid SIA Licence
  • Minimum 2 years corporate security experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
  • Strong written and verbal reporting skills
  • Proactive and solution-focused mindset
  • IT literate (CCTV, access control, emergency systems)
  • Surveillance awareness and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • 5-year checkable work history
