About the Role
We are seeking to fill the position of Security Guard - Part-Time at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens, a faith-based, nonprofit facility serving the community since 1971.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety of the facility by controlling access and prioritizing security.
- Be conscious of government guidelines and regulations.
- Be alert and have excellent observations skills, able to assess the conduct of people and identify dubious activity.
- Interact well with others and be able to take charge and deal with problem makers.
- Take swift and efficient action in during emergencies.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous security experience preferred.
- MUST HAVE A NYS SECURITY LICENSE
- Excellent observations skills.
- Good interaction skills and ability to take charge and react appropriately in problem situations.
