About the Role
Pure Paws Veterinary Care is seeking customer-service oriented individuals to serve as Front Desk Receptionists. This role is crucial for client experience, requiring clear communication and a passion for animal care in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets, complete appointment sign-in, confirm details, and escort clients to exam rooms.
- Accurately account for service and product sales, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments.
- Answer client calls regarding appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests.
- Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups.
- Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor.
