About the Role

You will build and develop the calculation department of a growing general construction company, including your own team. You will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of the calculation for a new team.

Responsibilities

• Perform offer, order, and additional calculation.
• Build and develop the calculation department and your own team.
• Create tender documents including work preparation.
• Determine quantities for various trades in structural engineering.
• Independently prepare bills of quantities based on functional specifications.
• Independently obtain and evaluate sub-contractor offers and develop alternative and secondary offers.
• Independently organize and conduct negotiations.
• Prepare and present construction project offers to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the calculation team.
• Participate in the introduction of RIB iTWO and be responsible for maintaining and further developing calculation data.

Requirements

• Completed degree, master craftsman, technician, or specialist in construction, architecture, or industrial engineering (construction).
• Several years of professional experience in calculation (structural engineering) and work preparation, ideally with initial leadership experience (operational or disciplinary).
• Proficient in RIB iTWO or BRZ.
• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• German language proficiency at C1 level.
• Commercial thinking, negotiation skills, and assertiveness.
• High affinity for AI tools and process optimization.
• Knowledge of MS-Office, AutoCAD, HOAI, and VOB is advantageous.
