About the Role
As a Sr. Product Manager at Filevine, you'll be a critical force in shaping the future of our legal technology platforms. You'll take ownership of new product initiatives, from conception to market launch, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations and driving business growth. You’ll work on products in the Depositions by Filevine platform, an AI-powered solution that revolutionizes how law firms and legal teams manage depositions.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive product plans, specifications, and user stories that bring high-quality features and enhancements to life.
- Work collaboratively with product leadership and teams to continually execute against the product roadmap.
- Closely collaborate with UX designers, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for every user.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to craft usable user experiences and deliver effective solutions.
- Translate complex customer and business needs into clear, actionable specifications, business rules, flows, and use cases.
- Actively hop on customer calls to understand their needs and pain points firsthand to inform product decisions and improve their experience.
- Analyze data and customer feedback to identify problems, measure results, and prioritize opportunities.
- Slice user stories into manageable chunks, define acceptance criteria, and work iteratively with engineers.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, collaborate with teams to optimize the backlog, and ensure projects align with business needs and long-term goals.
- Help with product acceptance testing, working with QA, engineers, and customers.
- Drive zero-to-one product launches and contribute to go-to-market.
- Partner with the GTM team to build value propositions, marketing videos, email copy, and one-pagers that capture the essence of your product and resonate with target audiences.
- Proactively educate everyone within the organization about your product area, creating excitement, and buy-in.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in business, accounting, engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field; comparable certifications; or equivalent direct work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in product management in SaaS.
- Experience delivering software related to the legal industry/depositions is welcomed but not a must.
- Strong knowledge and experience of software development methodologies and working within a software development life cycle.
- Ability to bring creative problem-solving and an innovative mindset to challenges.
- Ability to adapt and remain flexible to changing priorities and consider new ideas while having the business's success firmly in your focus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Data-driven decision maker.
- Experienced with Agile/lean delivery frameworks.

- Ability to travel as business needs dictate.
- Travel can include time at our Salt Lake City headquarters or visiting customers, prospects and attending conferences throughout the US and Canada.
