About the Role

The Propane Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to customers, including loading and unloading while providing exceptional customer service. This role upholds the highest safety standards in propane handling and conducts regular vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing.
• Accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered.
• Accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher.
• Conduct and document pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information.
• Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately.
• Work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience preferred.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Ability to work overtime and on call.
• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required.
• Will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

Skills

• CDL Class A or B
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred
