About the Role
Our Hosts create a positive guest experience by maintaining an efficient and organized restaurant through managing guest flow, maximizing seating capacity, and communicating with all employees. They share their passion for food, beverage, and hospitality with guests, leaving a lasting impression through professionalism and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner
- Manage reservation and walk-in traffic using Open Table
- Monitor table rotation and coordinate with Front Of House and Back Of House teams to optimize guest flow
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entrance area
- Answer guest inquiries and assist with special requests, wait times, or accommodations
- Support the overall guest experience with a friendly and attentive approach
- Assist with bussing tables and support the team by running food and beverages as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
Requirements
- Previous experience as a host or in a guest-facing hospitality role is an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Calm under pressure, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset
- Comfortable using reservation and table management systems (OpenTable) - preferred
- A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
- Valid Smart Serve Certification Required
- Available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
